**The Humane Society of South Brevard is an independently-run, non-profit, no-kill animal shelter. Our cats are free to roam inside our facility. We take in cats on a pre-arranged basis only and can not "make room" for new cats No paws are euthanized unless there is a medical issue affecting their quality of life.

Youth Programs. The Brevard Humane Society offers a variety of programs designed to increase empathy toward animals. Our programs are designed to help fulfill Florida Statute 233.061 which requires Florida schools to teach kindness to animals as part of their curriculum.
